Sights
Skiing slopes Kranjska Gora
Ski lifts and ski runs stretch over from Kranjska Gora to Planica at altitudes from 800m to 1,215m. The system of 6 chairlifts and 13 drag lifts takes you to your dream trail. If you want to do something else, look at the map of ski runs and discover the splendid terrains also in Mojstrana and Rateče.

Jasna Lake
Before the first road bends to Vršič, stop for a short break at the Jasna Lake. It consists of two interconnected artificial lakes at the confluence of the Velika Pišnica and Mala Pišnica streams.

Spring Zelenci
Zelenci are a groundwater source of the Sava Dolinka River, located in the municipality of Kranjska Gora. Water emerges here from a lake of up to 2 meters deep, with a vibrant green color. It is this distinctly green color that gave the spring its name. Zelenci is a natural reserve and home to many endangered animal and plant species.

Vršič Mountain Pass
The mountain pass Vršič is the highest road pass in the Eastern Julian Alps, reaching an elevation of 1611 meters. The high-mountain road from Kranjska Gora, over Vršič, to Log pod Mangartom in the Trenta Valley, consists of 50 hairpin turns (serpentine bends). Planica
Planica is a glacial valley. It extends from the village of Rateče to the mountain hut known as Doma v Tamarju, and from there, the valley continues under the name Tamar. The valley is most famous for its ski jumping hills. In Planica, there is also the largest ski flying hill in the world, which traditionally concludes the season each year.
